What will you learn?

  • How to identify heritage and archaeology in your local area.

  • How to record heritage using accessible digital heritage methods.

  • Develop an understanding of the basic of digital photography for photogrammetry

  • Learn to use various software options for Photogrammetry.

  • Undertake a photogrammetry survey from planning to completion.

What do you need?

  • Software:-   Participants in all workshops will have access software for the duration of the workshops, with free tier software available for home use.

  • Camera:-     Participants will require access to a digital camera, while phone cameras can be used people should ensure they have the correct cables for transferring images from the phone to a computer. Suitable cameras include modern smartphone cameras, digital point and click cameras, or Digital SLR cameras

  • Computer:- Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop computer to training, but this is not a strict requirement as a demonstration laptop will be available for use. Video demonstrations will assist with installing software on PCs for home use.
